At Large Chapter

Purposes, Goals, and Objectives of the NFBCT At Large Chapter

The primary purpose of the At Large Chapter shall be to advance the general welfare of the blind in areas of Connecticut in which no NFB chapter exists and to function as an integral part of the National Federation of the Blind of Connecticut.

While the NFBCT’s main objectives are to achieve equality, opportunity and security for the blind in line with the goals of the National Federation of the Blind, blind and sighted people in the state of Connecticut are welcome to become members of this chapter even if a person is already a member of a local community based chapter. We discuss issues relevant to the state, nation, and our national organization.
